To Cultivate Loving Relationships

In the past few days I have posted a lot of stuff from my personal collection of 'pearls' and 'gems' :-)... here's one more to wind down the week. Someone gave it to me a while ago, with no mention of the author, so here it is Author Unknown:

For Loving Relationships - try this:

When you feel unloved, start loving yourself and
then go out and love someone.

When you feel unappreciated, start appreciating yourself and
then go out and appreciate someone.

When you feel unacknowledged, start acknowledging yourself and
then go out and acknowledge someone.

When you feel untouched, touch yourself and
then go out and touch someone else.

When you feel ignored, start noticing yourself and
then go out and notice someone.

When you feel rejected, start accepting yourself and
then go out ad accept someone.

When you feel alone, find yourself and
then go out and find someone.

When you feel poor, start giving to yourself and
then go out and give to someone.

And THEN you will find someone who loves you, appreciates you, acknowledges you, touches you, notices you, accepts you, finds you, and gives to you.

In other words, when you feel awful...
Change your thoughts;
Love yourself -- love others;
Give to yourself -- give to others;

And if all fails...
Talk to God, or whatever Higher Intelligence you believe in, OUT LOUD!

Be compassionate with yourself,

Kiki ;-)
P.S. My request to those who 'borrow' from this blog is to please give adequate credit to the source of the borrowed information - whether me, or books and people I quote from. Thank you.
