I said a few weeks ago that I would take a break from posting here on Saturdays. I'm bending that rule today because of it being Earth Day and all the excitement about turning off our lights for an hour. I'm writing this after the event, and am happy to have 'connected' with millions with the common goal of saving energy and supporting action being taken to help the cause of global warming, by turning my lights off as well.
The Earth needs our tender loving care - do get involved in an orgtanization of your choice... it's the only way individuals can make their presence felt and their voices heard above the din created by unsupporting politicians, and some governments that are still not heeding the warnings of scientists and others involved with the environmental issues.
If you believe that change is needed in some area of your life, or in your community or country, don't passively watch from the sidelines--be proactive and gat involved. it'll give new meaning to your life.
'See you' all on Monday,
Kiki ;-)
P.S. My request to those who 'borrow' from this blog is to please give adequate credit to the source of the borrowed information - whether me, or books and people I quote from. Thank you.
