To 'focus on the present moment' is emphasised again and again by scriptures, philosophers, new age thinkers, self-help authors, spiritual leaders and all those who are in a position to influence people's lives for the better. The plain and simple reason being that we have no control on our past and the future, and the present is all we've got. I like to think that they do this because they're on to the secret that our state of mind always attracts its own (or similar) to itself, and therefore taking care of our present, automatically helps us take care of our future.
I want to share this powerful message from the Abraham-Hicks website - confirming once again the simplicity of the Law of Attraction in the last line: '(your life) is not ever going to get better than right now--until it gets better right now!"
