I'm not one to anymore use vocabulary such as Life is a Battle, things are rough etc. But do love this quote from Thucydides - (c. 460 BC – c. 395 BC)- an Athenian Aristocrat and War Historian:
"But the bravest are surely those who have the clearest vision of what is before them, glory and danger alike, and yet notwithstanding go out and meet it."
And this is what we have to do while alive... put out our best foot, and follow it with another, and another. And glory and success will be yours! But mind you - YOU will give menaing to these two words -- don't forget that the race is with yourself, and yourself alone -- and THE BEST DESCRIPTION OF SUCCESS according to me is, LIVING YOUR DAYS EXACTLY AS YOU WANT TO LIVE THEM.
Kiki ;-)
P.S. My request to those who 'borrow' from this blog is to please give adequate credit to the source of the borrowed information - whether me, or books and people I quote from. Thank you.
